How do you support damage?
We share photo reports that are typically annotated, cite code and manufacturer requirements and provide additional documents as needed.
Where do you create estimates?
Xactimate, our team has 6 level 3 certified users, all graduated or graduating with architectural and engineering experience. We also can produce Roofr Proposals for retail.
What do you need to create an estimate?
Though we can write an estimate without, it is counterproductive so we ask that you share the carrier estimate when possible, measurements or reference measurements to scale our Sketch, Company Cam, Matterport of other photo files of before/during/after when available and add any narrative when possible.
Can you do an estimate without pictures?
Yes, we can; however, images help us visualize the house better and by including them we can identify more items in the estimate and support the better.
Can I add more line items to the estimate once your team has completed it?
We offer you 72 hours after we submit the estimate to review it and request any modifications or new items. After this period, the job will automatically close and an invoice stating the outstanding amount, if any, will be sent out. You may however request for supplement after work is complete as a courtesy typically with no added file cost, only line item related expenses.
Can you build an estimate from scratch?
Yes, we can build new estimates without any insurance scope, only by using measurements and pictures of the property in Xactimate or Roofr.
How long does it take to prepare an estimate?
Roofing Estimates are 3 business days, however depending on workload we get them done quicker. There are expedite fees if you need quicker turnarounds.
Does your team hold any certificates?
Amongst others, we have 6 Level 3 Xactimate writers, 2 people graduates of the Insurance Busters Boot Camp, 1 member has Haag Residential Certificate but our emphasis is in application not just to flaunt certificates without experiences.
Can you do the measurements for us?
Yes, we use Roofr software to make measurements for more accuracy, however we do suggest you offer us 1 reference measurement to scale the property.
Do you also build plot plans?
Yes, we are an architecture engineering company that can assist with blueprints and rendering, we can perform any work in the states that requires draftsmen but you may need to get local architect or engineer stamps.
Can you supplement without a carrier estimate?
No, in order for us to supplement we need the carrier estimate to use as a reference and see what has already been approved by the insurance. Additionally we only supplement files when we write the entire estimate.
What is the difference between a supplement and an estimate?
A supplement is a change order, so you add items that you weren't aware were damaged until after the estimate, most preliminary estimates are referred to revised estimates.
